Great web-meeting today with Felipe Luís Ody Spaniol of CNI - Confederação Nacional da Indústria and  Maura Kawai of the U.S. Department of Commerce in Los Angeles at our Brazil California Chamber of Commerce International Trade & Logistics Committee to discuss business opportunities in the bilateral trade Brazil-U.S./California on post-pandemic scenario.

With many companies facing business challenges from the current economic recession due to COVID-19, the International Trade and Logistics Committee of the Brazil California Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) hosted this webinar to discuss business opportunities after the pandemic.

Cleber Cuzziol, CEO at MV Risk Modeling Solutions and Committee Vice-Chair, moderated this panel discussion with Maura Kawai, Senior International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Service Los Angeles, and Felipe Luís Ody Spaniol, Coordinator of Internationalization Services in the International Affairs Unit with the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) – Brazil. The experts will provide insight into Brazil-California trade relations and support members of the BCCC when navigating the post-COVID global economy.

As an important trade partner, in 2019, California had over $1.3 billion in exports to Brazil, and Brazil is currently California’s 25th largest export destination. The trade partnership between California and Brazil is a lucrative one that the BCCC continues to strengthen and guide in these uncertain times, especially in light of new trade agreements signed between the governments of Brazil and the United States. We had experts and representatives from the BCCC community, U.S. Department of Commerce, city of Los Angeles, and Brazilian confederation of industry in this webinar to discuss about current financial markets and new business opportunities in the post pandemic world.
